    Description

16mm Film. Rare circa 1920s full motion film showing an American couple on honeymoon in France, including a visit to the site of the Battle of Verdun, the monument at
Voie Sacrée, and incredible footage of a wrecked German captured British Mark I tank (see crosses, tank appears to show side number 2857?)
which would have seen action there (running time just under 2 min.). There is also footage of a duo of bears in a zoo (running time 3 min. 45 sec.) and some scenes in Paris, some of which appear to have been filmed from the top of the Eiffel Tower (running time just under 2 min.).
Approximate total running time over 7 minutes.
This film is the original negative and comes with its reel and can. For archival preservation, and research viewing purposes, the original negative has recently been professionally transferred by Kodak onto a thumb drive, which will accompany the 16mm original film. The transfer was a professional wet-gate digital transfer,  brightness adjustment, and other corrections, which were recommended to obtain optimal results. The condition of this film negative is overall about very good with a moderate film smell. This listing is for the original negative and thumb drive of the Kodak transfer. I only have this one original negative and thumb drive (which has not been copied or digitally stored elsewhere), and no other copies of this rare footage. Thanks and have a great day!
