    1939 PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD CALENDAR
    , featuring the
    GRIF TELLER
    illustration titled
    "LEADERS OF THE FLEET OF MODERNISM"
    .   Absolutely spectacular image of the bullet train speeding along at night ~ one of the best of the series.  The calendar pad is missing.  The calendar has been mounted on foamcore.  It
    is 18 3/8" wide and 27 5/8" tall.
    This is an original 1939 calendar, not a reproduction.
    See photos for a closer look.  Edge wear; left edge tears as shown in close-up photo.  Small spot of paper loss on left edge of painted image.  Unfaded color; a wonderful piece of American imagery.
