    Description

Up for sale is a SINGLE OWNER 1996 Lexus LX450 finished in Cashmere Beige Metallic.
Powered by the original 4.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Everything (except two rear speakers and the battery) are factory original! The truck was purchased and registered in Maryland where it has spent its entire life. In 2019 it started a “like new” restoration to bring it back it its original glory.
Maintenance carried out consisted of new timing chain, water pump, valve cover gasket, seals, spark plugs, battery, and new paint job. The next items I had on the list were to have the driver seat reupholster, and getting the underside scaled and rustproofed. After those two things are done, you’ll have a truly extraordinary truck that will take you and yours on years of adventures. I never intended to sell this truck, but we are expecting a second baby so this will be sold for a new Toyota Highlander.
    The details …
    No reserve
w/ the factory manuals, factory key, two keys’ fobs, Carfax report, a clean Maryland title.
In 2019 the truck received a full serviced with OEM parts, resprayed with PPG water-based paint, and baked in a downdraft spray booth. The shop (Ready Line Automotive) worked a lot with these classic trucks, and I think this one came out particularly fantastic. We disassembled the truck panel by panel for the refinish. This was by far the largest part of the service ticket. Sadly, COVID closed the doors, but a Google search still shows some of the work. Lastly, I have posted as many high-quality photos as possible to hopefully help the truck speak for itself.
As for the mechanical. The original 4.5 head was removed and sent to Rockville Ring & Bearing (RRB) where it was machined and tested before being reinstalled. RR&B was excellent resource in the endeavor and got the stock motor running like new. The motor runs fantastic, I have posted videos of it running for you to hear.
RR&B is still open and can provide all the docs for the engine rebuild if you are looking to start a folder.
There are two imperfections in the paint. Which are shown in the last photos in the gallery. The links below are of HD videos.
You will have to arrange for transport. Its currently sitting inside a storage unit. Obviously, being sold, as is where is.
Please! Only bid if you are a serous buyer. Certified bank check or cash only for both our safety and convenience. This is not a dealer sale.
    Many thanks for looking!
