Always on the lookout for interesting collectible pins. I was able to purchased a collection of vintage Trade Union, Political, Protest, Peace, Anti War, and more from a auction in Cleveland Ohio.
The majority of the pins are from the 1960s, 1970s, and a few are older.

The pin features the old union insignia.
The pin states
: Bricklayers and Masons Local No. 5 Ohio Annual Picnic Aug 6 1927 Summit Beach Park Akron Ohio.
The amusement park known as Summit Beach Park opened in 1917, it's nickname was The Million Dollar Playground, closed in 1958.
Dangling below is a metal representation of a masonry brick layers trowel.
On the back the paper insert mentions The Whitehead & Hoag Co. with a union bug.
This pin is approximately 1 3/4 inches across, the metal trowel is approximately 2 1/4 inches by approximately 3/4 of an inch.

The pin's metal parts has a patina from oxidation with spots.
Due to age, history, use there is light surface wear with scratches.
Where the hole was made to attach the trowel caused chipping and cracking to the top.
The wire clasp is in good working condition.
