    These carbon fiber composite (CFC) nuts are the finest threading you will find on the market and we are the only distributor of this material in UNC threading in the United States.  Made from random chopped fiber carbon carbon, this material is denser and stronger than traditional multi-ply CFC constructions.  Extremely high inter-laminar shear strength gives you high strength and oxidation resistance.
    These pair with our CFC Threaded Rod for vacuum furnace construction, hot zone stud replacement, and CFC fixture construction uses.  Also ideal for graphite heating element connector blocks, spacers, insulation attachment, and spacecraft applications.  Withstands 3000C (5432F) in vacuum and protective atmospheres (non-oxidizing) such as argon and nitrogen enriched reaction chambers.
