Offered for your consideration is this 1959 calendar which advertises the Hagerstown Block Company and Hub City Mix of Hagerstown, Maryland. The calendar is marked Japan and is made entirely of wood, except for the eyes of the owls and the paper used for the months. The piece stores completely flat and the owls do fold out and creates, what could be, a letter holder. The calendar is in very good condition with all of the graphics intact. The calendar begins in the month of April and has insect(?) damage to the first page. The eyes of the larger owl does have a crack. The pop-out feature to create the letter holder is in very good working condition and is still able to open and close. The calendar measures 12 3/4" long and 5 1/8" wide and weighs 6 ounces, but, will have a shipping weight of 1 pound as it will be double boxed for protection. An unusual addition for the local advertising collector. Auctions can be combined to save on shipping. Thank you for viewing our listing.
