Description
This 1940's pottery liqueur bottle was made by Uhl Pottery out of Huntingburg, Indiana, exclusively to hold peppermint schnapps made and distributed by Mohawk Liqueur Corporation out of Detroit, Michigan (1933-1966). It sports cream and carnation pink colors, a corked ball stopper, a finger handle, and a ribbed bottom portion in Art Deco style.Dimensions are 9.75" high and about 5" wide at the thickest point, with a 1" wide spout and 2.75" wide base. Staining on the upper portion is limited to one side. The bottom (difficult to make out) reads "MOHAWK LIQUEUR R-4".
