World War 1 WW1 Imperial Germany Banner Flag Rare Antique

Description

Here is a rare antique from World War 1.
It was purchased from an elderly lady whose grandfather was in the war and brought it back as a souvenir.  It measures roughly 45 1/2 inches wide by 22 inches tall.
It appears to be made of felt or wool with embroidered letters and patches.
The banner was stored in a trunk for years and shows some slight staining along with a few moth holes.
It is in relatively good condition, but not mint.  It shows it's age.
The banner has the Imperial German flag, the "Germany" letters, and a bird patch (falcon?  eagle?)
